¥1580 (US$10.22)
Miriam Makeba’s sensational “Pata Pata” timely covered in rocksteady fashion by Patsy Millicent Todd in 1967. Strictly nyahbinghi yet sounding pop somehow - it’s an unmissable tune for those who know.
Leslie Butler & Count Ossie - Soul Drums / The Gaylads - ABC Rock Steady
Gay Feet / Dub Store Records JPN 1967

Lennie Hibbert, Count Ossie & Lynn Taitt - Pure Soul / Patsy Millicent Todd - A Man Is A Two Face
Gay Feet / Dub Store Records JPN 1967
¥1580 (US$10.22)
Master of the Jamaican jazz, Lennie Hibbert, on one to one session with the nyabinghi great Count Ossie. Considering the standard of its time those Gay Feet sessions are somewhat miraculous. Backed by Jamaican soul anthem by Patsy, this record is far from the bloodstream of the time and will surely rated more and more as time goes by.
Keith Hudson - Darkest Night On A Wet Looking Road / Darkest Night Version
Mafia / Dub Store Records JPN 1974
¥1480 (US$9.57)
Augustus Pablo - Stabiliser (Single Take) / Alton Ellis - All We Need Is Love
Stamma / Dub Store Records JPN 1974
¥1480 (US$9.57)
The true genius Keith Hudson introduced highly mutational sounds and sound effects at the time and this Pablo organ cut of “Peter & Judas” is no exception. Slightly different cut to the one included in “Flesh of My Skin Blood of My Blood” known as the monumental and arguably the first reggae concept album that is rated as important as “Blackboard Jungle Dub” in dub music. This cut is the fat original take mixed prior to the LP.

¥2180 (US$14.10)
Beautifully shinning golden female Lover's Rock.At this time, the Wailers band didn't play much of those sweet love songs, however this 7” definitely proves Familyman’s versatile musical orientation. A truly tight rhythm section beautifully blends with this rather unknown singer’s superb voice making these nothing but a masterpiece. A heart calming double-sider.
Family Man, Rebel Arms - Eastern Memphis / Wailers - Rebel Am I
Cobra / Dub Store Records JPN 1973
¥2180 (US$14.10)
This is the quintessence of the Wailers lead by Familyman, playing a killer horn instrumental and the dubwise. Arguably one of the most accomplished reggae instrumentals to date. The Wailers consisting of the Barrett brothers is without a doubt the number one band of the era, showcasing their full confidence which later gets praised by the entire world. Joe Axumite - No Equal Rights In Babylon / Version
City Line / Digikiller / Deeper Knowledge US 1978
¥1180 (US$7.63)
A long time in the making, part one of a new series of reissues produced by the great Lloyd "Bullwackie" Barnes. So many Wackie's productions are long among our personal favorites, and some helped introduce us to the wonderful world of Jamaican music. We'll be issuing many now hard to find singles as well as some previously LP-only tracks and other surprises! Our first selection of singles all appear, of course, on their original labels. Joe Axumite's tune is one we've long wanted to present, awesome tune backed by an incredible dub featuring what sounds like infinite echo.
Peter Tosh, Solomonic Reggae Star - Anti-Apartheid / Solomonic Reggae Star - Solidarity
Solomonic / Dub Store Records JPN 1976
¥1480 (US$9.57)
Peter Tosh was the first reggae artist to realise the limitless possibilities of the melodica (listen to the Wailers' first Tuff Gong release 'Sun Is Shining') and here he adds its haunting power to one of Bunny's best ever rhythms the prophetic 'Amagideon' from 'Black Heart Man'. The melodica phrases and the subtle, restrained mixing on both sides of this single bring out all the brooding introspection and mystery in the track.

Mafia / Dub Store Records JPN 1972
¥1480 (US$9.57)
Versions, dubwise, horn riffs and what not – all of those creative elements made this great tune and it was only Keith Hudson who had an ability to make it all possible. Even if you’re no an ordinary reggae listener you should try this. Apart from Hudson, at this time in Jamaica there was a number of eccentric producers like Lee Perry, Pablo, Niney and co who used their studio like an instrument to create their own sounds.
Earl Flute - The Betrayer / Chuckles - The Betrayer (Instrumental)
Mafia / Dub Store Records JPN 1973
¥1480 (US$9.57)
Out of all those China lead Soul Syndicate vocals this one has to be the tightest although here the rare flute instrumental is the business. At the time Keith Hudson had the original JA funk sounds going on in his rhythms.

Prince Far I - Psalm 87 / Black Oney - Festival 75
Book Of Psalm / Bond Export / Deeper Knowledge US 1975
¥1180 ¥1080 (US$6.98)
By special request and popular demand, here's the other two cuts to Black Oney's "Jah Jah Send the Parson (Rasta Move)." Since we reissued that single a couple years ago, it's been one of the most popular tunes in our catalog. By now releasing the other two cuts on the rhythm seemed overdue, so here they are. Prince Far I's cut appeared on his "Psalms For I" LP on the Carib Gems label, while Black Oney's other cut on the rhythm was made specifically for entry in the 1975 Jamaican Festival Song contest, and only ever released on a tiny blank label pressing. Prince Far I recites Psalm 87 over a more spare dub-style mix of the rhythm, while Oney sings on a more straight mix. All three tunes were made in 1975.

A long time in the making, part one of a new series of reissues produced by the great Lloyd "Bullwackie" Barnes. We'll be issuing many now hard to find singles as well as some previously LP-only tracks and other surprises! Our first selection of singles all appear, of course, on their original labels. Wayne Jarrett rose to notoriety with Wackie's, and this single is one of his all-time best, backed by a great horns version by Wackie's stalwart horns man Jerry Johnson.
Clive Matthews - Big Brown Eyes / Dub
Fox Fire / Digikiller / Deeper Knowledge US 1979
¥1180 (US$7.63)
'Big Brown Eyes' is a great one from the late '70s with tough horns, in fact the crew liked this tune so much that they re-cut it in the early '80s in a more rub-a-dub style!
