Red Robin EU2017
From the remote township of Te Mata, in the rugged hills of New Zealand, comes a new imprint following in the tradition of mid-80s rub-a-dub from an often overlooked corner of dancehall culture.
The brainchild of local farmer and radio personality Red Robin ? alongside the deadly production duo Naram and Art ? the first 12” features two heavy-like-lead riddims with discomix cuts from four unsung heroes of the 80s with conscious, street-level lyrics. Both sides are served with one-away dub mixes from Naram and added textural touches from disrupt. Mastered and cut by Pole / Scape Mastering for extra heavy low end. Strictly limited pressings. Watch out for Red Robin records in 2017 as more heavyweights 12"s coming your way shortly…
Scotch Bonnet UK2016
Parly B has been mashing up the UK and European dancehall scene ever since his debut 7" "In A Competition" dropped on Scotch Bonnet back in 2012. After releasing numeros singles for labels like Future Ragga, Reggae Roast, Nice Up! to name a few, here comes a massive compilation of his tough tunes simply titled ""Digital". As the name suggest it consists of nuff digital dancehall bangers some previously unreleased as well as big tunes like "Know Bout Style", "Rude Boy Skank" and more. Rhythms from Danny T & Tradesman, Mungo's Hi Fi, Subactive and many more. This one a huge!
Foreign Mind UK2016
